  1. Raquel,

This was very easy to understand. Your plan doesn't appear to have any gray areas that can cause problems later. I think that it may be a good back up to consider offering your surveys and tests in a web-based format as a back-up. Some respondents fill out surveys upon receipt, but may not return it on time. I'm thinking about capturing respondents on a second chance attempt, who transferred in later, or was did not receive this information from the original meeting or distribution.

Is it possible that your campus has a typical response percentage from parents replying to school info? I've used SurveyMonkey.com for surveys, but they charge you now for a certain number of responses. Lastly, don't rule out other district departments. Ask around and see if your communications or web masters have survey software where they can simply load your questions and capture the data for you. You may just need approval from principal and get it done for free. Good Luck!

  2. Raquel,
Overall, you plan looks very doable and it is easy to read and understand.

Who will develop your survey items for each response group? Will they be created by yourself and the team? Are they prepared by a specific outside entity?

Good luck as you move forward.
    Dr. Mason
